Dear Prospective Sponsor:
The Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta is a one of a kind hot air balloon rally. Sponsors help provide financial resources for Aeronauts to visit hosting cities and towns to share their love of flying without wings. As a sponsor you would be a part of this unique event within the community by sponsoring an individual balloon. For as little as a few hundred dollars or the equivalent in physical needed items you can be a part of someone’s history. In return, as a sponsor, you are eligible for a balloon ride of a lifetime (weather permitting), souvenir tshirts, pins and promotional advertising based upon your sponsorship level. Sponsors are included in Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta advertising via listings on posters, website links, flyers. Business marketing personnel are always looking for new and unique ways to promote their business or provide their valuable clients with experiences. Hot air balloons provide just that unique experience.
The 39th Annual Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta is scheduled for September 13th – 15th, 2019.
The Sign-in Party for pilots, skippers, and sponsors will be held on Thursday, September 12th, starting at 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm (please do not attend sooner than 6 pm as the pilots will be checking in at 5 – 5:45) and Dinner will follow starting around 6:45 pm at the Elephant Butte RV Resort.
Pilot briefings will be at 6:15 AM inside the ranger’s station inside the state park 13th – 15th 2019. Lift-off will follow between 6:45 am – 7:45 am near the water on Lions beach at Elephant Butte Lake State Park. Any riders will need to be present at the pilot briefing.
We certainly hope you will participate and sponsor a balloon. Join us for the most colorful event to take place in our area. This will be a wonderful weekend of special events for all to enjoy. As the 39th anniversary of this rally we are hoping to make it another great year! New this year is an offsite balloon Glow. We are working to lock down a location to be able to safely hold a night time event. These Glows are of course weather dependent and if successful can draw in over 1500 spectators.
